I've been experiencing periodic lockups on my Ryzen-based, Fedora Workstation. It's been a constant puzzle so I went looking for a resolution. Apparently, I'm not the only one with this problem: (Kernel Bug 196683). These are my notes on implementing the suggested workaround.
The Internet, as it is, is broken. It is not enough to salvage the status quo. We must rethink our approach. Over the next several posts, I want to focus on the people and organizations who doing just that.
