Daily Writing Progress (2018) - April 1st
Can we stop pretending that there ever was a golden age of the Internet? Even better, can we stop pretending that "something went wrong" with the Internet? Maybe, just maybe, it was always a little messed up.
It's kind of terrifying to realize how little I have written in the past month. Okay, that isn't entirely true. I have written a ton, but most that is nothing more than brief snippets of presentation materials, proposals, and research entries for my dissertation project.
Last month, I attended the MLA Connected Academics Bootcamp at the MLA Conference in New York. I wanted to take a bit of time for the experience to settle before reflecting on its impact. A month seems like enough time.
